ASSISTANT MANAGER RECRUITMENT

  • Based in Karachi
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any equivalent.
  • At least 3 plus years of experience in HR.
  • Basic knowledge of principles and practices of as recruitment and selection.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Assistant Manager Recruitment to join our growing team in Lahore and Karachi, Pakistan.

This position exists to build the talent pipeline for VentureDive by planning, coordinating and executing recruitment and selection process. The person will work closely with internal stakeholders to define recruitment requirements and agree on plans and strategies to source for all levels.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in the development of recruitment policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the development of a recruitment strategy which is in line with the expansion of the various projects.
  • Evaluate, plan and execute recruitment requirements.
  • Source for open positions through social media, print media and use of executive search.
  • Administer recruitment budget and monitor expenditure.
  • Collect and screen resumes, select potential candidates and provide short list of approved candidates to Supervisors for interview and with technical experts where needed.
  • Ensure consistency in process including establishment of interview panels, collection of forms, check and maintenance of documentation and references.
  • Perform reference and background checks on applicants and conduct orientation sessions.
  • Develop and maintain network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
  • Manage day to day relationships with recruitment agencies/third parties as appropriate.
  • Design and execute Recruitment drives to attract fresh talent into the organization.
  • Build relations with educational institutions.
  • Negotiate salaries with candidates based on available salary criteria.
  • Attend local job fairs to actively recruit applicants.
  • Co-ordinate participation in, set up display, and work at local job fairs as well as preparing relevant collateral.
  • Responsible for maintenance of a recruitment database.
  • Analyze the recruitment process performance, prepares the recruitment dashboards, presents dashboards, recommends changes to the recruitment process and implements changes.

  • Experience with writing requirement/specifications of technology related products.
  • Good Communication Skills (verbal and written).
  • Presentable and courteous.
  • Planning and Organizational Skills.
  • Ability to effectively follow up with the concerned stakeholders for closure.
  • Hands on experience of MS Office.
