VentureDive's journey started when four Stanford and MIT graduates met together, while working in Silicon Valley, and decided to set the groundwork for a world-class technology organization in Pakistan. What ensued thereafter, were several meeting in 4 key locations; from San Francisco and Boston, to Dubai and finally Karachi. Their aim to foster entrepreneurship in the region and technological innovation at a global scale, resulted in the foundation of VentureDive, in 2012.
Atif possesses extensive experience of working internationally in companies such as Cisco Systems, KPMG and Brience Inc. He also co-founded Perfigo and DotZero and is a board member at Al-Meezan Investment Management. Atif is an alumnus of Imperial College of Science and Technology, London and Stanford University, USA.
Saad has led a portfolio of mapping and location products at HERE, evaluated US-based startups as a member of 4G Venture Forum, wrote opinion pieces for VentureBeat, GigaOm and taught at Stanford and Harvard. He is a board member at PlanX. Saad is an MIT alumnus.
Mudassir is the CEO of Careem, MENA region’s leading ride-hailing service. Earlier, he spent a geeky decade in Silicon Valley before becoming a management consultant in McKinsey, Dubai. Mudassir is an alumnus of Stanford and University of Southern California.
Bilal started his career as an architect and has now amassed extensive international experience, working as a consultant in Asia-Pacific and Middle Eastern markets. His expertise lies in solution delivery experience across Mobility, Finance and Healthcare segments.
Murtaza is an experienced business leader with almost twenty years of experience, working in varied domains (Telecom, It, Products, Marketing etc.). He has led several successful intra-cultural collaborations in European, GCC, and South East-Asian markets.
